Each run you start with a single spell, catch wisps and fight monster camps for starlight, and open chests that roll like a slot machine: new spells, upgrades and boosts that stack into something broken. The more starlight you earn, the brighter you glow, and the farther away other mages can see you coming. Fall, and your run ends, but a share of what you earned is kept for the next one.
